Job duties include: entry of Court Orders into LEIN (Law Enforcement Information Network); Assisting Departmental Law Enforcement Officers; Communication with other law enforcement agencies, Central Dispatch and the Courts; Jail Access Control, and Answering Telephone and Coordinating Service Requests.

You can expect 5 to 8 weeks of paid training for each new Civilian Cadet, with a training rate of pay at $10.00 per hour.  Once trained you may anticipate 32 to 56 hours per 2 week pay period, with a rate of pay at $11.00.  The primary shifts to be worked after training will be 4:00pm to midnight or midnight to 8:00 a.m.
